At Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink, we are passionate about everything to do with food—from the growing and harvesting, to the preparation, serving, and eating. Our menus change daily because they start with what’s in season and arriving on our doorstep from local farmers, fishermen, ranchers, and artisans.  From there, it’s about letting the ingredients speak for themselves when they hit the table.

We are in an ongoing partnership with our suppliers to identify new ingredients and visit them in-person regularly to share best practices. Our forager, Chris Padin of a Farm to Kitchen, is on a constant hunt to sniff out sources yet to be discovered.  Same goes for our chefs — their work is as much out of the kitchen as it is in…

In 2010, we were awarded Slow Food USA’s first Snail of Approval in Miami. Begun by its New York chapter, the Snail certifies restaurants, bars, food and beverage artisans, and stores and markets as genuine contributors to the quality, authenticity and sustainability an area’s food supply.
